Terms of Service
ClientPDF is a free, solo-operated static tool. These terms are short on purpose — there's no sales team, no enterprise contract, and no legal department behind this site, just a set of PDF tools that run in your browser.
Free to use
Every tool on this site is free to use, with no signup and no account required. There's currently no paid tier — if that changes (the "Pro" waitlist on every tool page hints at a future batch-processing tier), these terms will be updated to cover it.
Provided as-is, no warranty
This tool is provided "as is," without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, available at all times, or fit for any particular purpose. Use it at your own risk, and don't rely on it as your only copy or your only tool for anything critical.
We can't see or recover your files
Because all processing happens locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server — we have no access to your files at any point, and no ability to recover them if something goes wrong on your end (a crashed tab, a closed browser before you downloaded your result, a device running out of memory on a large file). Keep your own backups of anything important before you process it here.
No uptime guarantee
This is a free, statically-hosted site. We aim to keep it available, but we don't offer any service-level guarantee around uptime, response time, or support turnaround.
Your responsibility for output files
You're responsible for how you use the files you create with this tool, and for making sure you have the right to process whatever content you upload to it (locally, in your own browser). We don't review, moderate, or have visibility into what anyone processes, by design.
Source code
ClientPDF's source is public. You can read it, audit it, or self-host it from the GitHub repository.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will move accordingly. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
